Bridesmaid dresses

I've chosen an ivory/champagne lace gown. I had originally wanted my bridesmaids to wear cream, but now I think that will be too close in color. My wedding is in the Texas hill country, in march. The colors are very neutral, revolving around burlap and lace and my bridesmaids will be wearing boots. The young girls in my wedding will be wearing a bright blue, and I don't like brown dresses. Any suggestions for my bridesmaids?

Re: Bridesmaid dresses

  • What about a blush (see link below for ideas on what the color looks like) or what about gray?

  • Coral would be pretty.  Maybe even a mint.

I know your colors are neutral but that doesn't mean everything has to be neutral.  It would be a nice surprise and a nice pop of color for your girls to be in a pretty color while everything else in your decor stays somewhat neutral.

    Maybe a lighter blue, example:image
    Champagne or beige:

    Light yellow:

The same or similar shade of blue that the 'young girls' (flower girls?) are wearing:

Or, you could still keep with the cream dresses:

  •  I like the idea of doing a blush or grey, as mentioned above. I think either would look nice, & not be too bold of a colour for pictures. (As I'm sensing you're swaying away from). I find the champagne & beige dresses don't stand out enough though. I personally wouldn't go with either of those colours.
