alteration?

My dress arrived today and it fits like a glove on my hips and butt, however the bust area needs to be taken in. when should I have this done seeing my wedding is 7 months away. I don't want to wait to late.

I was told to hold off on any alterations til at least 4 - 6 weeks out

Yep I think my wife had her last fitting about 6 weeks out and picked it up at 5 weeks.  Then she didn't eat for a month lol.

Yeah I would wait. My last fitting is 1 week before we leave.

I have been having alterations done over the past 2 months (so far, I  have had 4 appointments, including the one I just left today). They need to do one more appt., which is next week (and one week before I leave)....however, with that note, I have had significant work done to my dress (customized the top of the dress) as well as having them repeatedly needing to take it in all over (I swear, I have not lost a pound in over a year, so not sure what the issue is), so if you just need your bust done, I would wait until 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding.
