AW: DIY Wedding Stuff

FI and I have been busy doing DIY projects for the wedding so I thought I'd share a few that we have done! I'm kinda proud of them   Once the weather is nicer we will start painting the centerpieces.


 FI made the chalkboard and he's super proud about it



Card banner for the card box that I free-handed and was a nervous wreck about the whole time



This will be our cake topper...I just have to add a stake.


I'll write the table number and guests' names on the tags for the seating chart...









I bought a sash for my dress but wasn't happy with mint color of the flowers, so I made this one


And the Flower Girl basket

@Swazzle thanks! I never have time to be crafty just for the hell of it, so now that I HAVE to make time to get stuff done for the wedding, I'm enjoying it

wow that is all so amazing. I had to glue invitation to the pocket invites we were using that was more than enough DIY for me.  I really wish I had those skills, it's all so pretty I love the cake topper idea....

So pretty. Goodness you are talented. Did you get your frame for your chalk board at Hobby Lobby by chance? I think I used the same open frames for my centerpieces!

What are you doing for center pieces? (unless I missed that somewhere) After seeing all your other crafts I'm so curious!

@mbross3 we are making pedestals out of candle sticks and candle plates, spray painting them mint green, and placing a lantern surrounded by baby's breath on it.  We have to put them together and paint them, but once that is done I will post pictures. We're just waiting for the weather to warm up some before we paint them.
