Accessories to match LZ3315

I finally found my perfect and dress and now it is sitting in my closet calling my name. The first time I put on this Lazaro I knew I never wanted to take it off. It is so beautiful and has such intricate bead work and stitching that I am bit concerned with what accessories to match this dress. The dress in this is sherbert (pinkish) tone with gold stitching on the lace. Do you think chandelier earrings and no necklace or smaller earrings with a small necklace? Any help is appreciated.

  • I would do a drop earring, less than 2", and no necklace. The necklace will take away from the bodice IMO.  A nice pair of pearl earrings would also be very elegant.

  • Chandelier earrings and a bracelet. No necklace.

I agree.  Go with gold-tone crystal chandelier earrings and a gold-tone crystal bracelet.

    ETA: Or rose gold.
  • I agree with the other post, no necklace. Beautiful dress by the way.

Your dress is gorgeous. I agree substantial earrings would be pretty, but be careful with a bracelet. The top layer looks like tulle and you don't want a bracelet to catch the fabric and pull it. I found this happened when I was trying on gowns similar to yours. Also, my gown had chiffon rosettes that caught on the beading on my shoes. So weird, and something I didn't think of when dress or shoe shopping. Plus, I don't think you need a bracelet; let the attention fall on your new wedding band.

  • Thank you everyone for your advice.

@Giaspo The dress does have a delicate embroidered overlay, and I had not even thought about something catching it.

Yeah... I realized it when trying on dresses and the bracelet I happened to be wearing caught on some of the gowns. What I did NOT anticipate was that my gown would catch on the beading of my shoes... which lead to my MOH chasing after me with a pair of scissors so she could cut off all of the little strings!

IMHO, I really don't think you need a bracelet.  Your gown will stand on its own.  Good luck!

  • Ok so I just thought if something else...if you want, ask your florist to wrap the stems of your bouquet with ribbon (see my siggy pic). I had friends whose stems caught on the lace of their wedding gowns and the ribbon prevents this. You have to be ok with how it looks, though.
