This dress surprised me. I always envisioned myself getting married in something strapless, sweetheart neckline, full skirt, etc. When I started looking at dresses, one of the first stores I went to asked what our venue was. When I told them we were having our wedding at a botanical garden/greenhouse, they immediately pulled the Allure 8800 off the rack. They call it the Gatsby dress. I tried it on and fell in love, even though it wasn't what I was expecting! I went to several other stores to try on some different things but none I liked as much, then went back to the first store to try the 8800 on again and still loved it.
Knowing that this style is pretty popular, I looked on all the used wedding dress websites. I found one, NEW with tags, in the exact size I needed. The girl who bought it decided not to wear it because she attended a friend's wedding and her friend was wearing the dress. Her mom mailed it to me and yesterday it arrived safe and sound from Georgia. So not only did I get the dress I love, I got it new for $500 off the retail price! Score!
