Hey everyone,
Congrats to this weekend's brides! I saw some of the notes on the other thread. Seems like things went well overall. I know we all would love to see pictures when you have a chance.
For the rest of us, I imagine your weekends were all as busy as mine was. Three weeks out from the wedding so we did our place cards and bags for the hotel guests. Wedding STUFF is starting to take over my whole apartment! I was frantically checking the mail on Saturday as my veil was supposed to be delivered but I tracked the package-- it's actually coming today.
On this week's to do list for me:
- Fitting tomorrow
- Figure out what my nephew is using to carry the rings. I'm either going to knit or sew up a little pouch. I don't want them attached to something because we are having six couples say a silent blessing over our rings and I don't want everyone's hands all over them!
- Pick up champagne flutes from the jeweler (we used them for our commitment ceremony 12 years ago. They are silver and were really tarnished. The jeweler is cleaning them and engraving the new date on them-- we are getting married on the 12th anniversary of our commitment ceremony!)
- Pick up fiancee's wedding gift (also from the jeweler)
- Pick up cards for my sisters. Everyone's gifts are bought but I want to get cards for my sisters.
