Suit Color

My wedding dress is gold but looks more Champagne.  What color of suit should the groom where?  The wedding is in Nov.

I thik anice color combo would be a dark brown or navy. I would not go wih gray, but that's just me.

As far as the veil, that is a personal preference. I am wearing a veil but not over my face.

My dress was champagne and the guys wore dark brown. But you could easily do black too. Navy depending on how fancy your dress is might be ok too. If groom is buying, I would vote for black because it's something that can easily be used again.

Also, I wore a veil, but a single layer veil on the back of my head. I was 39 and felt ackward of doing the "revealing the bride" but I thought that the veil just added that final touch to the bridal look.

Any color your groom likes will probably look just fine, with maybe the exception of certain tan colors.

I wasn't planning on wearing a veil over my face, and then fell in love with a silly drop cathedral veil, so that's that. It's personal preference.

I think black would work best. 

How you wear your veil is up to you.

I think he could wear almost any neutral coloured suit.  Below are some examples.

If your guys need to buy a suit, charcoal is an easy color that goes with everything, and doesn't look like a funeral director's suit.  They don't need to match exactly.
