Fresco/MMoCA

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this board and am trying to make a final decision about where to have my wedding reception in Madison. Our tentative date is June 9, 2012 and we plan to get married in a local church. There will be about 120 guests. I would love to have the reception at the MMoCA sculpture garden and Fresco, but am just really worried about the plan b if it rains. That would mean having the reception and dancing in the lobby and spreading the event out over multiple levels.

Is there anyone who has gotten married or attended a wedding there? What are the pluses and minuses? Has anyone attended a wedding there when it was raining?

    A friend of mine got married there last year. There was no rain problem for her and she a pretty small wedding with 75 people. She said she loved the venue.. the only problem was that their wedding person wasn't really great at responding to things.
     I also had the same problem when I inquired about their space. I called them a month ago and still haven't heard back.
