Same here.  I am so sick of every girl who says shit like "I'm not like other girls, I'm just one of the guys. I wear jeans and play pokemon.  All other girls do is talk about clothes and dress in skirts and that makes them lamer than me.  I buy my awesomeness at hot topic." bitch, I can beat your ass in a pokemon battle any day of the week, marathon the shit out of comic book men and superhero movies/cartoons with FI, love the absolute shit out of sci fi (Browncoat for life), and manage a small business, all while wearing a cute ass skirt in a bunch of bright ass feminine colors because I like pretty shit, sue me.  And even if I didn't like any of that stuff, it wouldn't be because I'm a woman, it would be because people fucking like what they like and that's due to their brain, not their genitalia.

I have to wonder, are these ladies equally hateful towards MEN who tend to like "Girly" stuff?  Do they lump all gay men together like they lump all women together?

That was my favourite as well. I've known a few of these girls, Only want to hang with the guys, claim to only like conversations about whatever the guys like, think they are an anomaly, etc, etc.... I have also found through knowing them they often have a insecurity issues, and become oddly quiet and with drawn when another girl come along who likes to join in with the guys are their topics of conversation. So weird when you would think she would happily accept this kindred spirit... But is the trouble she wouldn't be "special" any more if she did? hmm...

So I stumbled upon the original "surprise proposal" question today, and I really love her second answer. This might get cited to all the "FI won't help me," "FI doesn't think we should spend this much money," "my bridesmaids aren't willing to be my automatons," "how do I get my ___ to lose weight/dye their hair/not get a tattoo/etc." brides.
