Ceremony Decision - Flamingo/Bellagio

We are close to making a decision on the ceremony location! We have it narrowed down to the Bellagio Terrazza and the Flamingo Gazebo.

I know these are totally different locations! We originally wanted to have the ceremony at the Bellagio Terrazza because our reception will likely be at the Bellagio and we visited and the location is beautiful! However, it is also pretty expensive and the mandatory Cashman photography and expensive floral are turnoffs for me too. The Flamingo gazebo is also lovely and much more budget friendly, and allows for flexibility on photography and floral. I also feel like the ceremony would have a bit more of a traditional feel, since there is a long straight aisle, rather than a windy set of stairs.

So, I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the Flamingo Gazebo, but have a few questions first!

1) If the reception starts (serving cocktails) at 5:30 at the Bellagio, is 4 pm the proper time to do the ceremony?

2) Does anyone have photos of Flamingo floral or examples of a ceremony DVD (using Flamingo videography)? I'm wondering if we should use Flamingo for these things or use outside vendors.

3) Anyone want to try to talk me into the Bellagio Terrazza? :) It is beautiful, but I feel like we could spend that money in better ways and I wouldn't be so stressed about the budget.

Thanks!

I looked up Flamingo Weddings on youtube, I am doing the Indoor Chapel at Flamingo, but i know Mo and Valerie at doing the Gazebo and I believe they are doing outside vendors with everything

good luck with whatever you decide!

  • I don't think you could go wrong with either, both locations are really pretty!  Does either location have any special meaning for you and your FI?

A few questions to maybe consider...
If you have the ceremony and the reception at Bellagio will you be providing transportation?  If so, will you still be saving money?  Where do you think your guests will be staying?

I also think your timing sounds good, ceremony at 4-4:30ish and that would give guests an hour to get to Bellagio for the reception.

    Good luck and happy planning!!!

We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

  • What about the Juno gardens at Caesars if outdoor is your preference, not as pricey as Bellagio.
  • Thank you all for your help! The ceremony in the video is lovely.

We did think about Juno Garden as well and it is very pretty, but I think we prefer the Flamingo Gazebo.
