Our date is January 10, 2015. We are booked for TI chapel with reception (buffet) to follow in one of their ballrooms. I was impressed with the pricing of TI and the good reviews I found online. I also considered other venues, but wanted something central on the strip and affordable for our friends and families. We blocked rooms and most are taken for the actual Night of the ceremony. Some folk are staying at the Flamingo but their rates have gone up in the meantime. Together her, dinner and package are about $4k. Haven't decided on the bar yet, as the prices were high and everyone we know is a drinker! Dress, veil, shoes and most accessories done. Groom's clothing done. Bridal party - still out to lunch....

@Kjeff001 We are looking into renting a house as well! I've heard it can save a ton of money. I'm not really impressed with all the venue choices here. I'm really stressing out! But I'm sure it will all work out before May 14, 2015! : )

Labor day weekend 2015! Wondering how expensive it is during that time of the year.
Anyway I started planning a Vegas wedding in 2012 but put the idea down because our parents begged us to have a traditional wedding and now were "eloping" with our closest friends and family. So far we're planning to use the Stardustsuite @the Orleans for a small reception, havent decided on a chapel yet...

I'm getting married April 25th at the Gazebo in Flamingo. We plan on an in-suite reception at the Nobu Sake suite at Caeser's Palace...has anyone stayed in that suite??

We are getting married at the Gazebo at the Flamingo and reception at Canaletto at the Venetian on May 23, 2015! I am so excited and I can't wait!

My fiance and I are getting married on March 11, 2015. People will have to take off work either way so I figured might as well do it during the week to make it cheaper for them and us. We are all staying at The Golden Nugget, and having our wedding and reception at Wedgewood. I am so impressed with their helpfulness and their pricing! You can't beat $18/person for 4 hours of open bar!

All my April 2015 brides....when do you plan on sending out your invites? I was thinking January is too late and Nov/Dec there are so many holidays.

January's not too late at all if you send a Save The Date ahead of time. That's what we did. Everyone knew far enough ahead of time so they could plan accordingly if they thought they might want to come. They had the date, place and time so they could book travel if they wanted to or ask for time off work but there is no need to give every single detail so far in advance. As long as people have the date in advance, sending your invitations out in January, or even beginning of February, depending on when in April your ceremony is, will be fine. Any earlier than that and you risk incorrect RSVP's. There may be people that say they will for sure be there and then something comes up a few months out from the wedding that changes their plans. And I dont know your group but I know with mine, some genuinely didn't know whether or not they'd be able to get there (finances, kids starting college, new jobs, etc.) until around now. My wedding is 10/17 and my invitations will be going out this weekend. Save the Dates went out beginning of April.

Perfect! I guess I am anxious to get back RSVPs to maybe help us choose a reception location :)

Oh, believe me, I know EXACTLY what you mean but you won't know for sure anyway until closer to the wedding date.  With the Save The Dates, I got a lot of feedback pretty quickly, like, "Wouldn't miss it.  Got it on the calendar already!" or "I have family coming into town that weekend and we can't reschedule."  That alone gave me numbers that I could use as ESTIMATES for venues.  We originally thought only about 35 people would come and I already have tentative "yesses" from about 50 and invitations haven't even gone out yet!  Those Save The Dates saved me though because it allowed me to have time to book more space than I would have originally for the reception.

I know how exciting it is though.  I'm already getting giddy at the thought of getting RSVP's back soon.  FI built our wedding website and he made it "go live" tonight.  I might spaz out when the first person sends that card back or clicks "YES" on the website!  :D

I'm an April 2015 bride, and I'm thinking I'm sending mine out in January... but I wish it were sooner just so I could get in an RSVP! :)

Hi Knotties! This is my first time posting but I've been a lurker for a while lol. I'm looking at a Vegas wedding for September 2015 and this board will now be my second home. We're going to check out venues next weekend. I feel like we are super slacking though (young couple problems). Hopefully we can get the date and locations we want!! I really like the Juno Gardens at Caesars Palace and thinking of either Maggiano's, Joe's, or an in-suite reception. Depends on how many people actually attend. Inviting 80, expecting 60.

Hi 2015 Brides! Our date is 15th October 2015 :) We've booked our ceremony in Primrose Court at the Wynn already, and have our photographer booked but that's all so far. Thinking reception meal at Wynn too (can't book that til this Oct) and after party at Cosmo, hoping for a wraparound terrace as long as it can fit 30 people!

We are booked for Feb 28/15 at Aria! We are having our reception dinner at Sage (also in Aria). We are unsure of where to go after dinner, our WC suggested Gold's lounge at Aria. Have any of you ladies been there or have any idea's?

@hmgiffor‌ I only have seen the pics from their site and gallery. I'm sorry. It is beautiful I love the glass flowers and they have a beautiful quote on the wall before you enter the chapel. They've been great with questions and correspondence. If you look through their packages and can't find what you're looking for just ask I did and got everything I wanted for the price too! Good luck!

MN resident Vegas Wedding, but am at a standstill. Wanting an April wedding. I feel I have looked at every single option, and now feel overwhelmed. Has anyone looked off the Strip?

I am waiting to hear back from TI. I heard there was a lot of construction going on (forget what blog as I have been doing nothing but searching and emailing). Were you aware of any of this?

Also, how has communication been with TI?

    Thanks!

I too am at a stand still for my April wedding. I have the chapel and reception locations narrowed and all of the proposals. Now we are going to try to book at time in August to go see everything again. My mom is going the week of the 11th so she might take videos/Skype me so that I can see them again :)

@Futuremrshauger, I am booked for TI for 01/10/15 and was just there two weeks ago.  I did not notice any construction and certainly nothing at all near the chapel.  I booked before I visited and in hindsight, I would recommend going to visit the venues first.

The hotel, IMO, is not as sleek or sparkly compared with a lot of the other casinos on the strip.  But the skull and crossbones stuff is gone.  However, it is clean and well taken care of.  The rooms are nice, contemporary with large bathrooms.  All of the staff was super friendly and accommodating.

The chapel arrival area is very nice, neutral and elegant with a beautiful piano that you can have a pianists for the waiting and finish time for $100.  The chapel itself is very nice and extremely small.  They state that it seats 65.  Highly doubtful.  I'd say more like 55 tightly.  That might be a problem is you are close to the 65 limit.  You can rent a ballroom for an additional $300, but you're stuck with no real decorations that way.  They have a flat screen that will stream the ceremony for any overflow/late comers.  But it's not like it's a ton of room either.  No need for decorations, but you can bring your own as long as they are artificial (silk, paper, etc.).

I also found out that the catering staff is all new and they revamped the menu choices, so it's worth it to look at it again, if you have seen it in the past.

I chose TI for a combination of the good online reviews, price for what you get and the cost per room for the guests.  We are booked the weekend after CES and all of the hotels have pretty high prices.  I keep my eye on that, making sure that our block rate stays extremely reasonable.  So far, it has.

We are getting married August 1, 2015. Thus far, we've put down a deposit on a Chapel in Paris, booked our reception at Wicked Spoon, and sent out the Save the Dates. We are currently scouting a location for our Meet & Greet. We are thinking to do an in-suite get-together somewhere nearby. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! :)

I'm planning on May 25, 2015. Its a monday so im hoping it will save a little money but its memorial day weekend. I havnt booked anything but im leaning towards having the ceremony at ghostbar. I know I want a view with everything I do for my wedding. I love the vegas skyline :)

I would imagine it will be more expensive since it is Memorial Day weekend. That is a very popular time in Vegas as the pools are throwing parties and the weather is perfect at that time. I have some info on Ghostbar if you would like me to email it to you.
