Hyde Bellagio? La Cave Wynn?

Has anyone used these sites for a reception or heard any positive/negative reviews? They are on our potential reception list. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I've eaten at La Cave, not at a wedding reception though. The food was very good and they have a really nice view of the Wynn waterfall. Depending on the size of your wedding reception, La Cave may or may not work... it definitely doesn't feel "wedding-y" to me, and unless you are renting out the entire restaurant, you would be seated with all the other diners. There isn't much opportunity for privacy, from what I can remember.

The staff there are snotty and stuck-up, which is unfortunately pretty typical for a lot of restaurants at the Wynn.

I haven't used hyde...but did submit an rfp. She was very nice and responded quickly but boy they sure are pricey! It looks amazing though!

We looked at La Cave and loved the quiet back room , which can fit about 50. Ultimately we did not book because they can only do heavy apps and/or a few stations and we wanted a formal seated dinner.

They can put larger parties in the main room , but as noted, it is not too private.

Would be great locale got a more informal reception or private back room space for day after brunch or a welcome reception.

I got a quote from Hyde, and I love the setting with the fountains, and have been there for a corporate event that was set up with heavy apps and liked it a lot.  Like PPs have said, it was just really pricey.  And for us we ultimately decided we wanted to be able to go past 9 pm, which is a no-go with club locations.
