Ode to my heels

Last week, FI convinced me to splurge on a new pair of black heels because 1. I wear black heels almost every day to work and had worn my last pair out 2. they were comfortable and 3. he thought they were sexy. They are 3.5 inch black Guess pumps with a crazy low side so you can see the arch. Love them.

I wore them for a few hours on Thursday to break them in, then today did my first whole day in the shoes. Which was ambitious for a new pair of shoes, but they were surprisingly comfortable for the looks. Well, I forgot that after work today we had planned to go suit shopping. I walked all day at work, then, we went to five stores in the mall- including all the anchors that meant walking across the mall twice. Then we went to Men's Wearhouse where he ended up finding the suit, and I stood around there for a while.

Officially did 15 hours in a brand new pair of unbroken in heels today and I don't have a single blister! Feet are a little tired, but other than that, I feel fine.

And FI got a super hot suit for the wedding!

I'm such a baby when it comes it heels. I keep an emergency pair of black flats in my car for those moments that I need to run out after work and can't deal with my heels anymore hahahah. I've also become my mother and started shopping at brands with more cushioning like Naturalizer. I'm always the youngest one in the store but it pays off when I'm the only one under 30 at a wedding dance floor not in bare feet!

Isn't your wedding like really soon- and he's just getting his suit?? lol

I couldn't find them online and the shoe box is already in the recycling. I got them at Macy's (my size was the only pair they had). They are black Guess pumps with 4 inch heels... Not 3.5 like I thought last night.

Wow that's impressive. I make it about 2 hours in my heels before I want to take them off and throw them at someone.

@shrekspeare I actualy can't wear ones with platform because they don't bend. The platform is solid as a rock which make it so uncomfortable for me. I only wear 3-4 inch heels with no platform. When you can bend the shoe in the middle, it's really comfy and easy to walk in. you should try it! Another tip is I always get ones with a Mary Jane strap across the top of the foot or an ankle strap, makes it so much easier.

Comfy heels are the best and those are super cute! I feel like Guess heels are usually pretty damn comfortable. Most of my heels LOOK uncomfy so Sunday I was able to tell FMIL there was no way I could go for a walk!
