menu help

I can't decide if I want filet or prime rib at my wedding. I thought I definitely wanted the filet but when I went to tasting I thought prime rib was better. I'm not sure if its because filet wasn't cooked the way I like it. I need to give decision today for invitations. Any suggestions? My wedding is at Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown MA.

Re: menu help

  • As a guest, I would prefer filet - but if you thought the prime rib was better than go for that!  Another thought -  why not just put beef as a menu option for your invitations to give you time to think it over?  We didn't have room on our RSVP cards for the full meals, so we just did chicken beef or veg and gave us some wiggle room!

As a steak, cow, and all around meat lover I prefer prime rib.

  • On our response cards we offered Chicken, Steak, or Vegetarian. We were 99% sure of our meals after our tasting but wanted leave room to change things up if we wanted.
