HORRIBLE Flower Experience

A friend who got married last summer used Sendiks for her flowers and they turned out great.  She said they were cheap, so I went and booked them on Friday.  After more thinking, they weren't that cheap.  I remembered I had gotten an email from Shorewood Florist from a wedding show saying I won a free bridal boquet and if I booked by Feb. 28th I got an extra 10% off.  I made an appointment to meet with them today.  The lady on the phone said that the bridal boquet coupon was no longer valid.  Apparently everything was based on the Feb. 28th date.  (That is not how the wording was in the email.) Anyways.......I met with the guy and the whole time was very honest about already meeting with Sendiks.  He gave me a price quote that was about $20 cheaper than Sendiks after the 10% he would graciously offer me still.  I politely told him that since it was so close in price to Sendiks and I had already put $50 down, I would just stay with Sendiks.  I thaned him for his time and when I extended my hand to shake it he turned and walked away from me!  I was so upset by his rudeness.  I am glad that I did not move my business to him!

    I also visited Shorewood Florist and they weren't polite to me either. They made their company sound they were better than any vendor, explaining they are "organize" by arriving hours early at the reception. However, they do not pick up their centerpieces at the end of the evening and except me to pack it up or else I lose the deposit. What company does that? I am the customer, not them?
    Anyways, I felt they were cocky and "too good" for me. I went elsewhere and loved the florist I went with as well.
