Flower Girl Dilemma

I have three flower girls, one of them being my own 5 year old. The other 2 are FI's nieces that are 3 and 5.

I'm having a hard time finding flower girl dresses for reasonable prices...unless none of them match. Where did you find your flower girl dresses?

Also, would it be strange to have my daughter in a different dress than the other two? Not clashing but maybe something a little different. I can't decide if that's mean or rude.

You could do all three is the same color scheme but in slightly different designs, but I guess I wouldn't single your daughter out. You could, however, have the two other flower girls walk by themselves with nosegays, and the have your daughter come down separately tossing rose petals. As for where to find them, check out Zulily, they often have cheap FG dresses.

I wouldn't do your daugher in a different dress than the others unless they are all different. You could look at just regular dresses at Target, Belk and JC Penney's and have them buy the same one or the same color. JC Penney's has FG dresses for less than $50 a piece.

I can't speak to the quality, but we've been looking at pinkprincess.com - FG dresses in the $40-50 range. If you don't care about them all matching, now would be a great time to find Easter dresses on clearance at regular department stores. But I agree with PPs, they should either be all different or all the same, not 2/1.

Definitely agree to look for Easter clearances.  We ended up getting our flower girl dress a couple weeks ago at Burlington Coat Factory for $25. 

We also have a 6-year-old bridesmaid.  Her dress will be similar color as adult bridesmaids, but we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a dress she will grow out of so quickly and maybe never wear again.  We ended up finding a dress at Target that is same color and similar style on sale for only $17!

So, I agree that checking normal chain stores may be a good idea.  And sometimes their websites offer items not found in store.

Like others said, I wouldn't single out your daughter.  But, I don't see any problem with all three having different dresses. If they are all same color, it should look okay. Or to help coordinate more, maybe get a ribbon sash/belt for all of them in your wedding color. Then they would all coordinate well, even if wearing different dresses. We did that with our flower girl to bring some of our color into her outfit. You can buy beaded sash or just get some satin ribbon.

we got our flower girl dress from a store in our mall called little angels. It was on sale at easter time so my friend was able to get it for about $30. I have seen them listed online for about $75-$100 but did not want my friend spending that much on a dress for a 2 year old who would grow out of it so quickly.

I saw that on ebay for about 25.00! and I'm pretty sure it was from an american seller too.. it's one of my top choices.

My sister and I got the same dress from Etsy for our daughters (both 4) for our cousin's wedding at the end of this month...  We are thinking about getting different colored sashes/flowers and reusing them for my wedding in November, provided they still fit the girls!

My flower girls dress came from ebay for $15.  I'm sure not the greatest quality, but it looks cute and is perfectly fine for a 1 time use before it goes into the dress-up chest.

I would not have your daughter in a different dress.   I would have them all in the same dress.
