Celebrities- who do you love and who do you hate?!

Love

• Christina Aguilera- her voice just speaks to me and cuts to my heart (the slow ballards) so she can do no wrong in my book even though most people think she's a hot mess.
• Jason Statham- so frigen sexy, I will see any movie he's in even if they are all the same plotline.
• Mark Wahlburg & Ben Affleck- they represent my homestate so I love them, but they are also great fathers and husbands so that's to be admired
• Guiliana & Bill Rancic- I normally hate all reality tv, but I just find them endearing. The way they interact with each other you can tell how much they love each other and her fertility and cancer struggles touched my heart.

Hate

• Gweneth Paltrow- most people agree because of her holier than thou attitude and GOOP website that hawks $5,000 Christmas gift ideas
• John Mayer- I just think his music is terrible and his head is the size of a watermelon, not attractive in the least
• Tom Cruise- 'nuff said
• Olivia Wilde & Scarlett Johansen- I don't know why I just find them hideous and don't see why everyone thinks they are so beatiful

I have strong opinions about many others but I'm trying to keep it short lol

I also hate Tom Cruise. I despise Justin Bieber.  I think Kanye West is a jackass and although I watch the Kardashians (I love it, it's my thing, don't judge me), I think Kim Kardashian is obnoxious.

Apparently her father's ex is spilling some secrets.     I don't mind Oprah, but there is always something off with her.  Couldn't put my finger on it, but if what ex-step-mommy  is saying is true, then it would explain my feelings.

ETA -  for the record I believe there are 2 sides to a story and the truth is often some where in the middle.  Step-mommy doesn't seem to have the best motives, but I'm sure some of what she is saying has truth behind it.

From what I know about this whole Oprah thing, it's not weird to not like a step-mom, no matter how old you are. Her fault for not making sure her name was on the deed. Oprah has lots of money and probably shouldn't let her stepmom be homeless, but she's not responsible for that. We don't know how oprah was treated by her stepmom, maybe there's a reason there was no love.

I don't like Kate Middleton at all.   Not one bit.       

She spent 10 years living off of mommy and daddy in order to be at Will's beck and call.  I find nothing good about that.         What she does have in her favor is she didn't kiss and tell.  So I will give her that, but the girl has a college degree wanted to be a future queen of England. She could have found something productive to do for 10 years while waiting for the ring.

I don't know if its true or not but I also heard Oprah knocked on a mansion's door and told the owner "get out. I want this house here's $50mill". The house wasn't even for sale but the couple couldn't say no to that much money so they went with it.

I agree it's hardly a surprise step-mom and step-daughter do not get along.    And Oprah owes step-mommy nothing.  

At the same time I find it very strange she would by step-mom's home that she use to own outright before she got married, but mortgaged to help with dad's business.  Out of all the houses, why that one?  With all of Oprah's money she very easily could have helped step-mom from getting anything sort of settlement with the dad.   

Step-mom has to mortgage home to help husband.   They default, Oprah comes in a buys place, marriage fails, dad still keeps his business, step-mom gets nothing.      Of course step-mom was in the wrong for taking bad financial advice, but it just weird all around.

I like the way Kate dresses. I like the York princesses much better, but Kate is always in the limelight. I like to see what she wears.

I think the only reason she went to St. Andrews was so she could stalk Will. But the Middletons' PR game is so strong. I think everyone expected Will to go for an old money family, but the way her parents controlled the press in their favor is so impressive. She sold her soul for that ring.

ETA: I also think that in the same way Princess Diana played the PR game against the Royal Family during the divorce, if that ever happened to Kate, I think she could win as well. Of course I'm not sure. I don't know what the general consensus of Duchess Kate is overseas, I know here most people seem to quite like her.

I may or may not have a secret life lurking on royal gossip boards.      Kate is not very well liked.

I love Leo DiCaprio...not just because he gets hotter with age, but bc I think he's a phenominal actor. Also love Jensen Ackles to death!

@lyndausvi I'm the same way- if I hate someone in a movie I will refuse to see the movie.

I also think Charlize Theron is absolutely stunning- oh and how could I forget Sandra Bullock- love, love, love!!

I also hate Christian Bale... It is odd. My hate list keeps getting longer but not my love list. Wait I have another love. Tim Burton. I know his last few movies haven't been the best but I think he is wonderfully weird.

I used to really like Kristen Bell then I read an interview with her and she basically said while she was pregnant she felt zero connection to the baby. She said "it could be a water bottle sloshing around in there for all I care". I have never been pregnant so I don't know what it's like and if that lack of connection is normal, I just found the comments so odd. Even a few months after birth she said something about the baby just being "a blob".

Actually a lot of women don't feel an instant connection to their baby. They just don't admit it because of the stigma around it. Society expects mothers to have a connection right away and this makes perfectly normal women who don't have that automatic connection feel inadequate. I think it would be better if more women were this honest about being pregnant and the first few months with their babies.

Why did this cause you to dislike her? Not everyone is super stoked to be pregnant or enjoys pregnancy, or even parenting I would bet. It's definitely out of the norm to hear someone talk about it. But I bet it's a relief for other parents who don't have that same super special connection with their babies to hear that someone else feels the same way.

Yea true. I still like her, I just thought it was totally bizarre and can't imagine feeling that way when I'm pregnant one day. But I might, you never know.

What else I don't understand- and I know there are many gay people on this site so this is meant in absolutely no disrespectful way in the least- why do celebrities (like Kristen Bell) say they wouldn't get married until gay marriage is legal. Maybe there are very good reasons that I don't see and maybe the LGBT community finds that supportive. But to me it just seems super narcissistic to think lawmakers are sitting around saying "Gee, we should probably legalize this since Kristen took a stand on her own marriage waiting for it to happen".
