Milwaukee area waxing?

Hey ladies, I'm a wax virgin and I want to get a bikini or brazilian wax before my wedding and honeymoon (May 2012). Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go?

If you're looking for the full spa experience, I recommend the Vici Cappeli salon. They've got a good price (comparitively) and a good atmosphere.

Or, if you're looking for a similar experience but want to save some cash, head over to the other side of the building to the Vici Aveda School. Students do the waxing, so the price is about half than what it is at the salon. Beware though - I've had a wide range of experiences here from having the instructor do it (girl called in sick) to a newbie student (took a while - somewhat more painful than usual). I still go every 8 weeks though, my experience has never been THAT bad.

Another recommendation - since you're a wax virgin I'd take two ibuprophen about an hour before you go to the appointment. It can really reduce the pain and inflammation that goes along with waxing. Don't worry too much though - like I said I get one every 8 weeks and I don't take anything anymore. You kind of just get used to it.

Oh, both the Salon and School are located on South Hwy 100, just after Beloit.

I just had my first wax a couple of weeks ago, and I went to the Phister Well Spa. They made me feel very comfortable, and the pain was not as bas as I expected. I also found a coupon online so it was only $45 instead of the normal $65.
