First of all, J has been all over me to just calm the hell down, relax, chill the fuck out! I've gone a bit crazy, admittedly, when it comes to getting rsvp's with more saying they're coming than was invited and other little things that are just big pet peeves. (The main issue with the rsvp's is that we are paying for the wedding and some people see it as free food and booze and decide to bring people that we know but aren't specifically invited, kwim? The venue can hold everyone, I'm concerned with the cost, but his parents have insisted they will cover the overage).

ANYWAY. The bachelor party is just going to be a golf outing then everyone meeting up where we do our big group gatherings for partying all night. So J was saying that one of the groomsmen invited a couple other people. He had his own freak out minute..."Wth?!?! Those people aren't invited to the wedding, they can't come to the bachelor party!" That was followed by a bit more obscene grumbling about disrespect. LMAO

I didn't say a word, but I was gloating inside!

  • Love when etiquette starts to rub off on others!
Also, I applaud you for keeping the smirking internal. Pretty sure I would have come down with a massive case of the giggles.
  • I love when FI picks up on etiquette issues. He was telling me the other day he thought it was tacky that he got invited to his coworkers bachelor party, but wasn't invited to the DW.
