Barn/Rustic Wedding Venues in NE Ohio

Hello all! I just recently started the hunt for the perfect venue, and I am just now realizing how hard it is to find the perfect barn! :( We are looking for a venue that would hold up to 275. We are in the Cleveland Area but anything within an hour would be an option. I'm learning that I can't really be picky but a barn with air conditioning and bathrooms on site would be amazing! Even if it ends up being a winery or something like that... I just want a rustic venue not a typical reception hall. Help! Does any one know of any nice rustic venues?

I sent another bride a list of rustic-like locations (not all barns) from my own research. Let me see if I can dig it up for you.

@joiningtheflocknot all of these are barns or in NEO, but they all have a "barn feel" and are within about two hours of us. I think 95% of them allow alcohol as that is a must for us, but I didn't weed out the ones that don't. I hope you can benefit from my many, MANY hours of research! (There's a lot more to it, but these are just the venues.) Aside from the private barn owned by Doug & Lorrie, you should be able to Google all of these for more information. The ones that stand out in my memory (it's been over a year since I searched for these) are in bold. Good luck!

  • I second Happy Days Lodge for a rustic feel with all the amenities (kitchen, bathrooms, AC) or Conrad Botzum Farmstead in Peninsula.

look at meadow ridge farms in Windsor, they don't have AC, and im not sure what your budget is, but they can be rented. Gorgeous place, definitely has the rustic feel to it!
  • Which location did you end up going with for your wedding?
