Monday Progress Update - 04/28/14

OMG! We have girls getting married this week!!!! I know you are all so excited for our wedding month to finally get here. We're in the final stretch so we don't have a whole lot left to do anymore so my list is pretty short this week.

 - Had my final dress fitting

 - BM's picked up their dresses

Had my bachelorette party this weekend. It was CRAZY but I had the best time. We went to an outdoor bar here in southern Maryland and they had a great 80's hair metal cover band. We danced all night, had a few too many drinks, made lots of random friends, and took sooo many crazy pictures LOL. 

Safe to say I am 100% done with planning. I finished my seating chart last night, got our day of schedule and our transportation plan finalized, and even made plans for what we're doing Sunday after the wedding! I can't wait to get married in just FIVE DAYS!

Hooray Klburke88!  Cant wait to see pics! I had my bridal shower on sun. I did my very first 10k on sat and I am so sore! But it was so awesome!  Didnt do anything else wedding related

Got our Marriage License Friday!! Woo! We pretty much have the final head count for our guest list, and my bach. party is this weekend!

 So excited. Other than that, all I need is to get a cake topper and ribbon for my cake, make a weekend timeline and inform all BP/Immediate family members about it, pay off cake baker and have final venue and floral meeting. FI and I are going to go shopping today for honeymoon attire/rehearsal attire. I cannot believe I am getting married in 3 whole weeks!!! Eeeekkkkkkk!!

Our wedding is not until the 31st, so we still have some time. I had my bridal shower on Sunday! Ordered all bridal party gifts, including groomsmen. Wrapped gifts for our parents. Worked on the seating chart and we are about 90% finished. Met with our officiant.

Have our final head count.....got the rest of our mason jars, got most of our decorations.  Will order all the liquor next week. We are closing on our house this week and moving this weekend. What were we thinking buying a house and getting married. Glad we arent getting married until th 25th,  I think We are 80% done with the wedding stuff!!!!!

Emailed seating by table plus entree choices to the reception venue, picked up our marriage certificate an took delivery of the very last piece of decor we're responsible for.

Aside from framing a few pictures for a remembrance table, we're done! Wedding in 12 days!!

Right now that is it. My bachlorette is this weekend and I am SO ready!

I'm getting married saturday, holy crap. My mom and I assembled the favors yesterday. I also sent an email to the wedding party so everyone knows what they're doing, finalized the seating chart so FMIL could put it on a chalkboard, and am picking up my wedding dress today. Friday night I ripped my dress so I had to get it fixed-thank goodness i found an amazing place where they did it for FREE. I also had to pick a last minute flower sub, since the florist informed me less than a week beforehand that they wouldn't have what I ordered.  FI is having his bachelor party tuesday-thurs out of town, so i'll be hoping no one gets arrested. We still have to get our marriage license this week, so here's hoping it all goes smoothly from now on.

My wedding is this Friday. Yes, THIS FRIDAY! Holy. Crap. We got our marriage license last Tuesday (and yes, we took a selfie!), had final meeting with DJ also on Tuesday. Some of my bridesmaids came over on Thursday to help me put together the programs, table names & menu frames, and tackle the escort cards (handmade paper flowers). I also made my toss bouquet & his toss garter (Attached scratch off lotto tickets to them. We are going to toss them at the same time: stand in center of dance floor facing each other, DJ will announce "Who wants to get lucky tonight??!!??" and then girls will stand behind me & guys behind FI and we'll toss at the same time. Whoever catches gets the lotto tickets and a mini bottle of champagne!). Had my bachelorette party on Saturday: went and got our hair done, had dinner and then went to Hunk-o-mania (see Bachelorette Party post for pics & more info). FI had his bachelor party on Saturday as well (paintball, go-karts, arcade, dinner). We hosted our "rehearsal dinner" on Sunday - nothing fancy just a pizza party at our place. Oh, we also started our dance lessons last Wednesday; had our 3rd lesson tonight and will have the last one tomorrow. AND tonight we just picked up FI's tux!

Let's see...

-This weekend we had our bachelor/bachelorette parties

-My mom went for her dress fitting last night...

-Tonight I'm going to WP gifts and fill out cards

-Some time today I have to order the food for my confirmation on Sunday.

My mom, brother, and I are making our confirmations on Sunday at 5:30 mass.  So we invited our sponsors over for lunch and stuff before Mass.

ETA:  ALMOST forgot...FI and I are going for our marriage license during our lunch breaks today!!!

-Finished our personalized ceremony (still working on vows)
-Final fittings done just have to pick up dress on 05/07
-Finished my DIY centerpieces, bride & groom signs, and instagram sign
-Set up hair prep appts for me and the BMs
-Confirmed venue rehearsal with wedding party
- Finished up on wedding party gifts
- Completed escort cards and seating chart
- Got topper and ribbons for the cake
So glad we were on spring break @ my job! It really allowed me to get so much done
