Booked the Best Videographer

I am so excited that my future in laws booked one of the best videographers for us! (I won't post the name so I won't sound like a vendor.) I am ecstatic that we are going to have a video, a really great video!

Well, I spoke too soon.

The future in laws made us an offer we couldn't refuse. They offered to give us the money for the videographer, and we could keep it or book them. We are keeping the money. Money in savings to start a marriage is awesome!!

I'm confused...if you were willing to pay for the video yourself, why would you bail when someone else is paying? Curious, bc my video is worth more to me than the photos, but that's just MHO
