Bachelorette party...Plan Yourself...

Im am super fustrated Knotties.....I have left the task of planning my bachelorette party to my mentor.....Now I know choosing to do my Wedding in Jamaica im missing alot of traditions....But jeeze my Bachelorette Party is May 24th and I know nothing that is going down....I damn near had to beg her to give me a date.....I really wanted it to be held on the 31st so my family would be able to come to our lunch(light Reception) the next day but she stated she couldnt do it that day she would be out of town so I settled on the 24th....I call her today to get more info about my party and so people can get rides squared away as I refuse to drive......She becomes enraged catching an attitude about something that has to do with my wedding....I really didnt like that and think I may just plan my party on my own to save myself the foolishness of not having anything planned day of when my family comes from new york to enjoy the event....

I'm really sorry your galpal is letting you down! I really feel like us DW brides get left out of some important festivities! Is there another friend you could enlist to "help" the other one put it together? Or maybe plan a separate event the weekend you wanted so that your family can be involved. That way you won't step on her toes and she can still throw you a bachelorette party but if she drops the ball you just trudge through the night with whatever she puts together and look forward to your back up plan.

@ausome13 she eventually called and apologized...said she wants to stick to tradition of me not knowing anything about my bachlorette party....And thanks for Idea Im def going to have a backup plan...
