what to wear

Hello All,

I am having my wedding at the Riu in Ocho Rios. I am going for my dress fitting this next week and I am still trying to figure out if it is worth getting a long line bra to wear under the dress. I am so worried that it will be too much in the heat of Jamaica.

is there anything else out there that I am not thinking of?

Thanks

Re: what to wear

  • I am getting bra cups sewn into my dress.  Less to wear in terms of undergarments that way!  Not sure if that will work for you or your dress, but worth asking at the salon.

Having cups sewn into your dress sounds like a great idea! I haven't found a dress yet but i think I will be going with that idea. We're getting married in Mexico next September so it will be hot and humid and that sounds like a great solution. I am also small chested though so I am not sure how well this would work for someone who has a bigger bust

Ditto sewing the cups in!  I did this for my wedding dress, and I've also done it on multiple bridesmaid dresses I wore.  It's just much easier, and as long as the dress has the structure to help hold you in, they're great.
  • I had cups sewn into my dress. I just had my 2nd fitting a few weeks ago and it was wonderful! My seamstress also put some structure in the front to help hold it up. It felt great! I can't wait to go for my final fitting next week! :)
