Chandelier earrings for beach wedding in Costa Rica

I love the look of Chandelier earrings with wedding dresses but I'm having a hard time deciding if this would look alright for a beach wedding in Costa Rica. I also think that Chandelier earring will look very good with the dress I have picked out. My second choice for earrings would be linear rhinestones. Any thoughts?

    I wore chandelier earrings for our DW, and I loved them. 

    If you want to wear your hair down, I would stay away from them though because odds are the beach wedding is going to be quite windy, and those earrings have a knack for getting tangled in hair.
