FI and I have some issues we need to work out, so decided to postpone our wedding.  It will still happen, just will take a little longer than originally planned.  Best to work out the kinks now though!

You are being very wise.  Traditionally, an engagement was a time to test whether or not the couple was compatible.  Better to work out issues now, rather than later.  You are making a very mature decision.  Good luck!

That's what my daughter did. They were able to work through their issues in couples counseling. Today, they're a happily married couple.

Thank you, it's much appreciated!   We'll be looking into a pre-nup, which is something that both of us want.  We'll see how it all goes, and I'll keep you ladies updated!
