For an April 2012 wedding when should you send out the invitations and what should the RSVP date be?

    Ours are going out in January.  We didn't do STD's and have a lot of OOT guests.

    For April wedding you can send the RSVP now.....This is the right time to send the RSVP at least for the out of town guests.....So that they can have sufficient time with them to make the arrangements for the wedding like booking of flights, hotel and etc......

    I read somewhere that 4 months before the wedding date is the ideal time to send the RSVPs..........And dead line for the RSVP should be 1 months before wedding so that guests also have sufficient time to reply back and you also have enough time to send the invitations.......
