GAH! RSVP deadline was yesterday (5/5) and still have quite a few outstanding, so I took the time to contact people. I asked my Mom if she would call her brothers and she told me she had already talked to one of them - and that he is not sure yet because he is a lawyer & has a case they are waiting to hear if the judge accepts the plea - if not, he will have to be in court. If so - then he can come (which he wants too, which is great!).
My Mom told him to just let us know when he does (he is out of state so he would be flying in) and that he doesn't have to send in the RSVP!!! She then said to me "one more won't make a difference." So I asked, "If he is able to come, will Aunt be coming too?" Her response - oh - I don't know, I didn't ask!!! GGAAAHHH!!!!
Sure, in reality 1 or 2 don't make much of a difference in a buffet, but what if everyone has that same thinking!?! I love my mom dearly, but sometimes I just don't understand her line of thinking!
