How to Report Users?

Hello,

I'd like to know how to report users snarky responses, when they are not welcome or needed for a simple question? It's absolutely ridiculous to get bashed over a simple question because they don't like what you've chosen.

How can I report someone? Thanks

I'm sorry but getting snarky and downright rude just because someone didn't go with someones opinions, IMO is bashing. Nevermind the fact that I never said I didn't take into considerations everyone's opinions. I DID take other comments into consideration but I felt other options were better, which will happen to EVERYONE at one point or another.

This forum is just downright rude. I've never seen such a rude forum in my life. Its ridiculous..

If you ask a question you will get opinions.  And you won't always get the opinions that you like or are worded how you see fit.  So you either need to accept that and ignore what you don't like or remove yourself from these forums since they are so incredibly "rude."

And no one was bashing you.  They disagreed with you and your line of thinking.  Two completely different things.

Maggie was not rude. Your desire to change the nature of this forum because you don't like how we respond is rude.

If you don't like how we post, leave. If you want honest, unbiased opinions, grow a thicker skin and stay.

But your choices are either to accept the a recept seers or Ignore them. Asking people to change their a recept seers seers to suit you is not an option.

Sorry but it was rude. I never said that I was trying to change this forum, but people should show a bit more class and be less rude about it. I've posted multiple times before my last couple of threads and have had great responses.. but since this? Nah.. too rude and wishy washy..

I am really not sure that what I said was rude.  I was just merely stating your options.  You don't seem to like it here because of the fact that you have called these forums and those that are on it rude multiple times.  So I have to ask, why stay?  There are many times where I read things on here where I roll my eyes, but instead of spouting "rude, rude, rude" I just ignore it, hit the red x button at the top of my screen, and move on.

And really, this is the internet.  If forums effect you so dramatically then they probably aren't the place for you.  Just as in real life, if you don't like what is being said you can either choose to ignore it or walk away.

Oh please honey, get over yourself already.

No one was snarky or rude in your post, and no one was bashing you at all.  I think you need to learn what those words actually mean before throwing them out in a temper tantrum, which is what this thread amounts to.

Not validating your ideas is not snarky, rude, or bashing.

Giving you constructive criticism is not snarky, rude, or bashing.

Attempting to give you advice is not snarky, rude, or bashing.

Not agreeing with you isn't snarky, rude, or bashing.

You can report users by sending a PM to @KnotPorscha, but unless someone violates the TOS, it will be in vain. 

Here is the relevant language:

We know you are all adults, and no, we’re not going to ban you for using profanity, sarcasm or sharing your opinion in conversation. However, we are going to ban you if you’re malicious towards another user.

Malicious, petty and/or personal attacks of any kind are unacceptable, so please be mindful of the way you address and discuss others.

Personal attacks include, but are not limited to: starting a thread with a user’s name as the topic/title to “bash” them, linking to a thread to call out a user on their post, thoughts or beliefs (not a topic), calling a username out maliciously, starting a malicious or derogatory poll/question about a user, using images (memes, gifs, etc.) in a direct attack/vicious manner, etc.

The Knot encourages you to share your opinions while respecting others’ thoughts and feelings as well. Feel free to share, but be ready to hear and accept other opinions that you may not always agree with. Because you do not agree with someone, does not mean this is the place to attack anyone else’s beliefs.
