Hey Ladies, I've been posting now and then but lurking all the time. I realized that I never can back with an update on my dad. He started his last round of chemo today, and has a PET scan set for a week from today. We're hoping for continued good news. He had a scan at the halfway point, around St. Patrick's Day, and the results were nothing short of the miraculous. The tumors in his liver were gone and the primary tumor in his neck was reduced by almost 85%!! So we all have our fingers crossed that these last rounds have bought him a lot more time. At this point we've sort of chucked Plan B out the window and are rolling full steam ahead for September. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. I know that God heard you. Knowing that my dad is ok for now is such a blessing, and knowing that the chemo is working makes watching him go through it easier.
In shameless AWing my wedding (that's actually going to get to take place) news, FI and I had a last min change of venue for our ceremony. We were originally going to have the ceremony in the same building as the reception venue. A plan we came up with before my dad got sick and I found my way back to my Catholic faith, but CN version is that the venue kinda double booked the ceremony space. After some soul searching we have decided to call our church to see if there was any way we could still get married there. I thought there would be zero chance the church was free 4 months out-but nope, the lord works in mysterious ways, and as the result of a scheduling error, the church was free all day! So we've rearranged everything to work with the new ceremony location and time. I just need to order new invites. Now that we have it all changed around I feel so excited. Its starting to feel so real!!
So those are my fun updates, thanks for letting me be a shameless AW!
