Here's just a few of the dresses that I tried on Sunday. None of them are "the one". There's one I liked but didn't include the pic because it was too big so the pic looked terrible so I'm not even posting it. I think if it was the right size it would look so much better. All the samples were the same size and they were too big.

I had no idea these pics were going to come out so small! I don't know if you click on the attachments if they'll show up the real size? Sorry! I fail at technology.

@buddysmom80 that was the first dress I tried on that we all liked and we all started tearing up a little. I think because it was just the feeling of "omg, trying on wedding dresses for real!"

I tried it on again at the end and we weren't feeling any excitement about it anymore. I think that type of silhouette is flattering on me though.

I like the first one and the fourth one but I think I'd like it more if it didn't have the fluttery lace bit on your shoulders. The silhouette is gorgeous!

what's funny is the second to last one was my "just for fun" dress to try on. It's something that I always pictured myself in but I feel like it's just so common now. The material was really itchy and the skirt was just way too heavy for me, I couldn't picture myself walking around and dancing in that all night.

I'm going to visit my mom next month and try on more dresses. If i don't find one I can't live without FI's cousin has generously offered to make me a dress. That's both exciting and nerve wracking to me.

We have very similar taste in dresses - I would want to try on every one you did! 

I think the first one is my favorite - I LOVE it.

I hate the second to last one, but ONLY because I hate hate hate those mermaid/flare whatever dresses.  I don't understand why that fit is even a thing I think it's so ugly.  (Sorry about my bluntness to anyone who likes/wore this style, it's just how I feel and I know others do not agree!)

The first dress looks amazing and very flattering on you!!  Do you know what aspects of it made you "meh" the second time you tried it on?  Maybe you could look for something in a similar shape that has more of a wow factor.

@CARLIEALISSA i think i was just feeling rushed because I was running out of time with my appt. Also my aunt and friend LOVED the next one I tried on (#2) and I think they couldn't get it out of their heads. Funny no has commented on that one.

@goldenpenguin- are you still in the Boston area? I tried these on at Anthropologie in Chesnut Hill (BHLDN is their wedding dress line)

You look beautiful! If I were you, I would have such a hard time choosing because your body looks great in each dress! Each dress is unique (loving the sleeves and backs), but I would have to agree with everyone on the fit and flare (or is it a dropped waist?).

wow everyone is liking the second to last dress!  next time I try on dresses I'll see if I can find some that aren't so heavy/itchy in that shape. I want to go dress shopping again right.this.second.

@leese19 - where in RI are you getting married? I LOVEEEE RI. BF is from Mystic, CT, and my best friend is from Westerly, RI, so I've spent some time there. Obviously if you don't want to say on here, I understand - I'm just curious!

@Blackbird230 - I LOVE Mystic. After college I said I would never want to move back to Connecticut, but I would totally live in that area. 

You know the whole Olde Mystic Village area, where the Steak Loft is? That was BFs grandparent's farm way back in the day!

@GOLDENPENGUIN @CASEFACE5, we're getting married in Mapleville- really close to Smithfield at Crystal Lake Golf Club. So it's really close to the MA border. I didn't want it to be too much of a distance for us or most of our guests but we were running out of more local options.

I don't know what's up with this formatting!
