Gift Ideas, Possibly Finnish Tradition?

An older relative is getting married for the first time in a small at-home wedding. In 5 weeks, yikes! His FI has been married before. They "have everything" and do not want gifts of "stuff".

He is a special relative, and his parents are deceased, so I'd still like to give them something to mark the occasion. He is of Finnish descent Can anyone suggest a likely gift? .Not wine - she's a wine importer.

Re: Gift Ideas, Possibly Finnish Tradition?

  • Everything of an unusual nature I have ever needed to find I've googled. It was very valuable in my own wedding planning.

I just googled "Finnish wedding traditional gifts" and more than 10 pages came up.

Yes, thank you, I know about Google. I'd already tried that and got over 10 pages about historical Finnish wedding traditions. Those didn't shed much light. I hoped someone here might have a creative suggestion, since most of you are thinking about what gifts you might like yourselves.
