Can't see the forest for the trees maybe.  IDK.

I love FI.  I just want him, til death do us part & all that jazz.

Why are we planning this wedding?!?  Picking colors & cake tasting & invite calligraphy.  It's all becoming bullshit to me.  

JOP & a night in a hotel with hot monkey sexx sounds really appealing right now.  Ugh

    Sounds good to me. Weddings can be pretty lame. I'm glad I never have to go through another one because planning it and then being in front of all of those people was horrifying.

    My thoughts exactly chibiui, except I've still got a month and a half! Never doing this again for sure. I am just not getting into the details. Cake? That one'll do. Calligraphy? Who the fuck cares. Colors? We literally went eenie-meenie-miney-moe after I picked a few combinations I could live with. 

    Try not to get bogged down by details. It sounds like you're pretty early in the planning process. Maybe you should reconsider your plans if it's already frustrating you this much.

    Thanks ladies.  I think I'm just over it all at least partially because I've already done the "fun stuff."  Went to the bridal shows, bought the dress, booked the honeymoon.  We've even already got the marriage license.  It's just sitting there, staring at me, begging to be signed.  Everything that's left are details that I'm DGAFing on.

    Honestly, if your details that you don't care about aren't done, will it REALLY matter to you in the end?  I just kind of stopped the last few days because I was so OVER it all. 

    I had the ceremony site, reception venue, groom, dress/tux, rings.  The rest I wanted to be nice, but in the end, I didn't even NOTICE most of it.

    I mean, here it is, over 6 months later, and I just noticed some detail work my sister did to a basket for me as I was putting it away.  I pointed it out to DH and was like "Did you even notice that?"  "Nope, didn't notice."  Yep, didn't matter!!
