Reviews 4/27/14 + pics!

I can't believe it has only been 2 weeks! We had a perfect day and were really lucky that everything went so smoothly!
Here are my reviews. Happy reading!

KLM/Delta (A) Our flights were with KLM and Delta both with a layover. I decided to carry on my rather large wedding dress, which luckily didn't cause any problems. We got to 'priority' board the plane on each flight by asking the ground crew nicely and there was closet availability each time. No overhead locker trauma! :D

Vdara Hotel at City Center (A-) The Vdara hotel doesn't have a casino which was exactly what we were looking for. Only a short walk to the Aria and the Strip. We stayed in a City Corner Suite on the 21st floor. Really spacious and great views! Staff are friendly and accomodating, but housekeeping did not always do a great job.

Make up in the 702 (A+) Deb and Keira did my hair and make up. They were both wonderful and didn't make me feel like 'just another client'! I had a trial 2 days before my wedding where we figured our my wedding day look. The only thing I changed between the trial and the actual day were the false lashes. On both days my hair and make up stayed in place all day!

Keith Kaplan (A+) Keith has been amazing to work with. He's very friendly, courteous and passionate about photography. He took us to several locations across the strip and made sure we were comfortable. In the three hours that we had him booked he took over 300 photos and they look amazing! Just waiting for our photos to arrive on usb, these ones posted here are low-res and downloaded from shutterfly.

Bell Trans (A) We hired a limo to get us to the Valley of Fire. Our driver Britton was very friendly and chatty. He had driven to the Valley of Fire many times before, just never for a wedding! As requested they stocked the limo with champagne and some water. The limo was clean and the drive went smooth.

Scenic Las Vegas Weddings (A+) Melissa has been great and has responded to every email promptly. She was also our officiant and our ceremony was thoughtful with room for my husband to say his vows in Dutch. Trey was our photographer/witness. He did an amazing job and made sure we had all the shots we wanted. He is not as chatty, but very courteous and professional. We rush ordered the photos so we could take them home with us, the were delivered to the hotel the next day!

Hugo's cellar (A+) We decided to have our dinner at Hugo's cellar after we got back from the Valley of Fire. We got there a little early, but they didn't have a problem accomodating us. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were really big! The waitstaff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We got a complimentary dessert to congratulate us on our wedding, but we were unable to finish it because we were so full!

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous ---- quick question tho how do you walk on the rock and dirt in heels? how dirty did bottom of dress get

    Thanks all!

@southerncutie I wore wedges, I think if I wore normal heels they would've sunk in the dirt. Climbing the rocks was interesting, in the end I switched to flats and put on the nice shoes for the photos. I could have done it on heels though!

During the photo tour across the Strip the bottom got a little dirty from walking around the various locations, picking up dust and what not. The bottom of my dress didn't get red from the Valley of Fire dirt, as far as I could tell it brushed right off. At the end of the day, the bottom of my dress was a little dirty but not very noticable.
