Yesterday at my parents house, I tripped on a 2x4 on my parents deck. Well, slammed my foot into it is more accurate. My foot is swollen and reddish/purple, so today I went to the doctor. As she said, the good news is it isn't broken. The bad news is, it is fractured. Now I have to wear a surgical shoe for the next 4-6 weeks. My wedding is in 13 days!! There is no way I'm going to be able to fit my foot in the heels I bought. What can I do? Any suggestions or thoughts on finding new shoes at such a late time? I'm afraid my seamstress is going to be ticked I'm going to need to hem my dress again.
Ugh! Who does this just before their wedding?! Only me...
