Reception songs?

We are in desperate need of help with our list of songs for the reception. We are leaning towards more country, but interested in including other genres, as well. What are some great songs to get people up and dancing?

    People normally like to get up and dance to any type of line dance like the "electric slide", "cha cha slide". or "step in the name of love". It is good to mix the music up some and try to cater to all ages. I always feel bad when the older guests look annoyed because they do not know any of the songs being played.

    I would check with your friends that are going or your DJ. Those line dances PP mentioned are often on "do not play" lists around here. I know if I were to play the electric slide, I wouldn't get much in the way of dancing by my guests. Check on the music board too.
