Hey all...I need suggestions for hair in Madison...I did a trial with Brideheads and was very unhappy.  Any ideas??

I am getting my hair done at Ultimate Salon and Spa.  I had a mini-trial at a bridal fair and really liked it.

I usually get my hair cut at Anu.  I have been very pleased with the stylists there (although they are pricey).

My MOH is a hairstlyest and is doing my hair, lucky me!!! But when she gets to busy to do my hair I have gone to Regis in West Town mall and had the manager do my hair. She does a really good job and I think she told me she does do weddings. I am super picking about who does my hair and I liked her.

Oh, and my parents live on the West side of town too, so Regis may work.  Thanks!

My bridal party and I went to William Jon West.  Price is right, styles were great.  My stylist wast Katerina-- very cool. I would definitely recommend them.

I recommend Regis at West Towne as well. My fiancé and I get our hair cut by Jessica the manager, and she's AMAZING she's the only person that's been able to tame his cowlick! haha. She even makes my trims look gorgeous. Knows how to work WITH your hair as opposed to trying to make it do something it just wont do.

I feel badly you had a bad experience with brideheads.  They did my hair and makeup for my wedding and were wonderful!.  I brought in four pictures for the trial and Angie hit it right on the spot.  She even woke up early before her other jobs to get mine in on my wedding day.  Everyone said that I looked just like a movie star and I felt like it as well.  I especially appreciated her work as I have super curly hair and most stylists do really weird things with it.  The hairstyle and makeup lasted all day including through an outdoor humid ceremony and 8 hour day.  I hoped you found someone that did that for you as well.

I have to agree with jmbagnall. Angie did my hair and my whole bridal party's and Shari did our makeup. Everyone looked wonderful, and it all photographed well to boot.

For the other brides out there, don't be afraid to give Bride Heads a try. Angie really worked with me to make stressfree and fun. In my experience, she was able to recreate the pictures I showed her and was willing to make adjustments when necessary.

  • I agree with the previous posts - Brideshead was wonderful for me. I loved Angie and Danielle and they did a great job on our whole bridal party.  And the fact that they will travel to you was a huge bonus, rather than running all over town for our hair/nails/makeup/lunch, etc., we were able to relax at the hotel room.  They were really great and I would highly recommend them.
