Colored hoop skirts

Hi ladies, 

So I really want to add color under my dress. I was going to do the crinoline slip but my dress just looks so much better with a hoop skirt. Does anyone know where I could get a pink one? or how I could still add color besides shoes?

No idea on the colored hoops skirt... there are several vendors on etsy that make them, maybe they could make one for you.

As for other ideas... It depends on the dress and how much extra color you want.  bits of lace in the right places would work if it's the right dress for that (You could even have the seamstress sew a layer of lace just under the hem so it peeks out).  A colored handkerchief... colored ribbon on your bouquet... colored hair accessories and jewelry... and there is another active thread that has a colored ribbon for a corset back... or just a colored sash.

My mom made my crinoline/petticoat for my dress.  I originally wanted an entirely colored one, but we opted instead to just add lace trim to the bottom that would "peek" through as I walked.  Plus, as an added bonus, I had my mom sew a Harley Davidson patch to the bottom of my skirt as a nod to my husband's love for his Harley.
