Just got mail

Addressed to Mrs. Firstname Marriedname! It's the first mail I've received since getting married and it's an early birthday card from my mom! My married name starts with a Z and I can tell my mom couldn't figure out how to write a Z in cursive.

I also had a bill address to Miss Firstname Maidenname. I haven't gotten the marriage certificate yet so I can't update stuff.

 Congrats! It's an awesome feeling, isn't it?? I *loved* getting mail with my new last name on it!..who am I kidding? It's been 9 months, and I still love it. Haha

My new last name also starts with a Z!

I hope this isn't a thread jack, but funny related story...  We got married about 3 weeks before my Mom's birthday.  When I mailed her card I put a new address label that said "The Z..s" with our address.  

When my Mom got the card she saw the address and thought "How sweet, Ginny (DH's mom) sent me a birthday card."  Once she opened it up she realized it was from us, but we both had a good laugh about it.

@AprilH81 Yay another Z last name! I've been complaining to DH that I have to move from close to the front of the alphabet to the very end, and that I will always be last for everything now (last name starts with z-u so there isn't much that comes after that alphabetically).

I went from Ho---  to Zo---  I like of like it because when I go somewhere where where they have registration/check in split up into sections I always know I'm in the last one without having to mentally go through the alphabet to figure it out.  lol
