Yes, apparently Jenna came back and disclosed that she was a troll and was out to prove that people online will believe anything. It was her hilarious prank that she and some friends pulled on TK: get everyone to be a bitch to her at first and then win them over with a sob story to prove what fools we all are.

I missed it too :P Kinda wish I'd seen it, I imagine there was grab a bag of popcorn and a huge glass of wine levels of crazy there.  I mean, seriously?  Haha, I called you all names and was super nasty to you, then got you to forgive me with a fake sob story- So basically I showed you are all forgiving, level-headed people who genuinely care when others are suffering and for some reason you should be embarrassed by that.

I think my favorite part of the cached version was the part about going back to the real world/ calling US obsessed- dude, your idea of fun is making a fake account with your friends and picking fights, then PRETENDING to lose a loved one (Which really, that is fucking horrible.  Why not shave your head and tell everyone you have cancer while you're at it?) Nobody who has anything better to do does that shit.  The whole faking losing a family member thing still makes my blood boil though.  FI recently lost a close relative who was in his 20's.  That is painful, and terrifying, and sometimes just flat out hard to believe- He was just so young.  His family still hasn't really recovered, and in some ways, I don't think they ever will.  There will always be a hole where that lost relative was.

So to LIE about going through that, just for a joke, is absolutely sick.  Let me ACTUALLY get mean here- that poster was a piece of shit.

Damn I missed that.  I think all she proved, however, is that this community is made up mostly of women with great big huge hearts who are willing to forgive someone for being an asshole if they apologize.

Glad I read this thread. I had read the 2 Jenna threads but didn't see the "reveal". Lying about that is just messed up. There are certain things(I personally think) you shouldn't lie about because God forbid something actually did happen I wouldn't want to have karma in the back of my mind. That prob makes no sense now that I read it.

I know exactly what you mean. I never lie about family or close friends being sick or dead because it feels like I'm tempting fate.
