I am very excited about this! There have been a lot of decisions lately, which is really good news. I wonder how much longer it'll take until we have marriage equality across the whole country!

  • Hell yeah! Go Oregon!!!

So wait...that's the entire west coast (WA, OR, and CA)...so if it could just bleed a little east for my state that'd be awesome.
  • IT will not be long until all the states allow same sex. Even conservative IN has dialed it back when it comes to pushing through a ban. They see all the courts striking it down so I guess they don't see the point. Not that they have allowed same-sex yet, but I foresee it in the future. I see AL, MS and maybe TX as being the hold-outs.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

Utah. Utah is challenging the ruling, of course, and I'm pretty concerned about how it's going to hold up here. I just wish Texas would secede.
There are some very nice people in Texas, but their politicians make them hard to like.

  • I've got some friends who just moved up to Portland who are very excited they can get legally married without a road trip.

    Kentucky might hold out.
