    This is all kinds of wrong.

    The idea is not bad, but they should be hosting it and invite the people they'd like to invite based on the "venue" space- not send out invites as a first come, first serve. Yikes.

    Ugh!!!!!!!
    However last I checked ( ten years ago ) a wedding in Rome is not legally recognized in the USA.
    Still ugh!!!
