Monochromatic bridesmaid dresses?

What do you think of the monochromatic dresses (same dress, different shades of purple). The bridesmaid flowers will be a light purple lavender and mine will be monochromatic purples with some pops of pink. Ignore my 5 year old clip and paste mess trying to give an idea. I am kinda just feeling it out to go look at them together.

I think when bridesmaids wear the same dress in but different shades of the same colour, it can look really pretty.  Examples:

Beautiful! They don't even need to be the same dress. You could get different colors, different styles (to suit each girl's shape), and then all the same fabric. Like, all satin or all chiffon but with different necklines.

@NYCMercedes I'm very OCD. I can't do the mismatched dress styles. I wanted to, but my spidey senses just kept tingling. It would drive me nuts looking at my wedding pictures lol.

Those of us diagnosed with OCD call it CDO so the letters are in the correct order! Anyway, below are all chiffon dresses in different colors, some strapless, some bra-friendly.

That's what SIL/MOH/BFF did. So much easier to pick a wearable color for each attendant. I rock a Maleficent look normally, so the dark color was spot on. Her stunning maid who is biracial wore a shimmery pastel. We swap color shade, we look half dead.
