I didn't post much on here, however I did enjoy reading the Vendor reviews, so here are mine from 2 weekends ago! Hope this helps someone!
Venue: Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe - A
I had a tough time getting in touch with the coordinator and there were some items that we discussed that they did not follow through on the day of the wedding, but over all, it looked amazing and I had so many compliments on the food and accommodations, they did well!
Ceremony: Miraculous Medal Parish (Meadowlands) - A
The priest was very good, he gave a wonderful mass and was very easy to work with! I enjoyed the ceremony greatly. The coordinators and organist were not the easiest to work with however, they didn't really listen to anything I said and the rehearsal was very chaotic and hectic, they had no control over what was going on. The organist was a nightmare, but the music turned out beautiful in the end!
DJ/Photobooth/Uplighting: 2nd II None - A+++++++
They were amazing! The dance floor was packed all night, they really get the crowd going and even got the groom to dance, which is pretty near impossible! I can't say enough good things about the DJS! Eric is the best! The uplighting was fabulous and everybody had a blast in the photobooth!
Photographer: JK Photography - A++++++
Joe and Katie were incredible! Joe was laying on the ground, climbing on chairs, standing in the rain and pretty much did every and anything to get me a good picture! We had a blast with them!
Videographer: Off Center Productions - A+
I can't say I really saw him the whole time, he was kind of silent and I haven't seen the finished product yet but he was extremely easy to get a hold of and easy to work with.
Florist: Memories in Bloom: A++++
My bouquet was gorgeous! Toni and Liz did a fabulous job! They all looked great! They were so colorful and vibrant, they were all perfect!
Cake: Pastries Ala Carte - A+
I had cake centerpieces in addition to the large cake. Everybody raved over how delicious it all was! My only complaint was they didn't put the cake topper in the center of the cake, not sure why? Might've been too big?
Ceiling Decorations: Arvay Event & Design - A++++
They did an amazing rainbow ribbon ceiling for me, with gems on the bottom of each ribbon, words can't describe how breathtaking it was when I walked into the ballroom!
Favors: 2 Local Girls - A++++
The Chocolate Covered Oreos were delicious! and none of them broke or fell apart! Very impressed!
Invitations/Programs/Name Tags: Rebecca Bell - A+
She did a great job on the wedding invitations and the programs! She had some great ideas and suggestions and really knew her etiquette! She was incredibly helpful!
Chair Covers: Sister Seats - A+
They were really easy to work with, incredibly affordable and my chairs looked fabulous! I got black chair covers and they weren't easy to find without spending an arm and a leg! These ladies came to my rescue and they looked amazing!
Limo: TDF Limosine - A+++
Mark was early, he drove us anywhere I requested, he helped all the women on and off the bus, and called me a few days before the wedding to confirm all arrangements!
Bridal Shop: Sorelle - A+
I came to them to buy my gown, even though I had found it at another store, and they were extremely helpful and courteous! I also bought my veil off of them!
Tuxes: American Commodore - A+
I had a rainbow wedding and it was difficult to find multi colored ties with the same pattern, they were willing to take my swatches and go buy the specific colors I needed! Really helpful!
Bridesmaid Dresses: Davids Bridal - A+
Very easy to work with, dresses all received within 2 months of ordering. One of my girls dresses zipper didn't work very well, they exchanged it at no cost. Only complaint was the seamstress wouldn't attach a ribbon and flower because it wasn't purchased at their store.
Hair: Exsalonce - A+
3 girls came to the Hilton Garden to do our hair and they did a fantastic job on everybody's hair! Very cooperative and skilled!
Makeup: Nicholle Oliver - A++++
Personal friend of mine, she did an amazing job! Gave me fake eye lashes which started to come off 15 minutes before the ceremony (due to my tears) and ran to the church 5 mins before I walked down the isle to glue them back on!!!!
Ice Sculptures: Ice Creations - B
We had some misunderstandings along the way and didn't quite see eye to eye. But he pulled through and brought both sculptures, not may ice sculptures to pick from in the area, so I was satisfied with this, but not overly excited about the outcome.
Rehearsal Dinner: Angelos (Washington) - A+
Food was delicious, service was really good!
I think that was everything! Overall our day was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing! I am glad it's over and am looking forward to a new journey!
