Need help in picking out a veil for a Trumpet style dress.

I need help in looking for a veil. I thought I wanted a birdcage but I feel that it will be informal for a catholic wedding. I'm afraid to get a long one because of the train my dress has. I don't want it to be covered by the veil but the other style I do like is a Mantilla with a lace edge My dress is a Essence of Austraila D1448. Any recommendations please?

You could get an elbow-length mantilla veil.  That won't go down long enough to compete with your train.

I think a two-tiered, finger length veil would look lovely.
