Introduction

Hello!
My name is Justina. I recently got engaged to my boyfriend and have just begun the wedding planning. We plan to get married in Madison, WI in the fall of 2013. We'd like to do an outdoor wedding and keep it small and as inexpensive as possible. I realized when I began looking into planning that I have absolutely NO IDEA what I am doing! If anyone has any pointers or advice for a gal who is completely lost, I'd really appreciate it. THANKS!

  • Start with your big deposits to secure your date...and then from there you can really just start saving and spending as you need after that point, after you've set your budget of course. I felt a massive load off of my shoulders when we PLaced all of our deposits...

  • To start you'll need to first decide on a budget and how big your guest list can/will be. That will dictate most, if not all, of your subsequent decisions. 

    From there book your reception and ceremony locations to secure your date. 

    After that you can start to tackle other vendors (i.e. caterer, photograpaher, officiant, florist, etc.).

    There are lots of great wedding locations and vendors in the Madison area, so you'll have no shortage of options! :)
