Honeymooning in Alabama-What to do?

My husband-to-be and I are going to Orange Beach, AL for our honeymoon. Has anyone ever honeymooned there before? Or do you have any recommendations of things to do besides sitting on the beach. (I am perfectly fine sitting on the beach all week, however, my fiance would like to see and do other things)

help please :)

  • Have you checked out TripAdvisor?  I'm not familiar with the area, but a quick search yielded the following attractions and activities.  I also find it helpful to post questions directly on the TripAdvisor forum or even just search the forum for similar questions.

  • We are honeymooning in Gulf Shores, AL next week which is only 10 minutes from Orange Beach! There is so much you can do. The Wharf has lots to do as far as shopping and sightseeing. FloraBama and Pink Pony in Gulf Shores are also a must!
  • Eat at Lulu's in Gulf Shores! Excellent chips and salsa!
