Honeymooning in Alabama-What to do?

My husband-to-be and I are going to Orange Beach, AL for our honeymoon. Has anyone ever honeymooned there before? Or do you have any recommendations of things to do besides sitting on the beach. (I am perfectly fine sitting on the beach all week, however, my fiance would like to see and do other things)

Have you checked out TripAdvisor?  I'm not familiar with the area, but a quick search yielded the following attractions and activities.  I also find it helpful to post questions directly on the TripAdvisor forum or even just search the forum for similar questions.

We are honeymooning in Gulf Shores, AL next week which is only 10 minutes from Orange Beach! There is so much you can do. The Wharf has lots to do as far as shopping and sightseeing. FloraBama and Pink Pony in Gulf Shores are also a must!

Orange Beach ie very close to Pensacola Fl......the Air Force museum is awesome also the Blue Angels could be flying so check that out. Battleship in Mobile Bay has tours. There are Tensaw Delta sunset cruises up on the bay. Lots of cute coastal towns to poke around..( Fairhope/ Ocean Springs/ close to Biloxi casinos.....and a day trip to New Orleans...... Fairhope on the bay kinda of arty.... Has Fri night wine/ art nights...Fort Morgan if you are into history and a small historic area in downtown Pensacola......Foley has tons of outlet stores.... Check area festivals....Foley Hot air Ballon in June... Weekend music in Orange Beach at the Wharf
