@JCbride2015 Thanks! It is half of the molecule for met enkephalin (A beta endorphin that causes "runners high") My BFF has the other half on her foot. We are a little nerdy.

I need new shoes for my wedding. I'm buying MOH a new pair as she can't wear her heels now (which I'm ecstatic about because I'm going to be an auntie again!) so I need something. I'm debating a pair of lace up boots. Because, yes I do need more.

Otherwise, I wear Docs or sneakers daily. For days off, I wear boots, low heels or dressy sneakers.

My style is a little different I guess, but I had to wear a low heal due to grass and i just LOVE green. So of course the had to be green!

Any tips on learning to walk in heels? My mom bought me a really pretty pair for the wedding but if I don't learn to walk in them I'm pretty sure I'll end up dying from a shoe related accident and that' would make for a crappy day.

It just takes practice! You need to get used to your heel hitting so prematurely so you don't end up clomping around. Wear them (or another pair) around the house, preferably on carpet so you don't slip. If you need to break them in, wear socks.

Start small. Don't go strait for the 4 inchers. Practice in some two inch heels and gradually go up from there. The only thing you can do is wear them more to get used to them. Clomp around the house in them in the evenings for the weeks leaduling up to your wedding.

I think people overthink it. Just walk like you normally would, but yeah your heel will hit a bit quick. Some people try to do an even footfall and they look ridiculous. Just practice a bit if you're worried!

But yeah, this was a motivating factor for my cowboy boots. I do pretty good in heels, but I am getting married outside and just know it would be the one time I screw it up and end up with my face in the ground. It would be hilarious, but I'd like to keep the hilarious situations down to a minimum. People are already taking bets on whether I'll set my hair on fire (because it's happened before).

These are likely what I will end up getting...although I have ordered at least 15 pairs of shoes to try within the last month because SHOES! Love that these are so SPARKLY!!!

Does anyone remember the sparkly, feathery Louboutin's from "Burlesque"? I DIE.

These are my shoes today. 1" platform plus 3" heel. I'm towering over my minions employees. (Note: my jeans aren't really that short. I'm sitting down.)

This sounds crazy. But it worked for me and few different friends. Put on heels, go to grocery store, get cart, clomp around while pushing cart. The cart gives you something to hold onto and balance with while you practice your walk.

Also start small and work your way to a higher heel, don't make the day of the first time you put on your wedding shoes, and find your inner bad ass bitch (or inner diva, whatever works for you). Last tip was from a drag queen who taught me to walk in heels.
