Weddings at the State Capitol?

Hi!

We are planning a very small ceremony before our reception.  Just us and our parents, brothers and sisters.  We are considering using the State Capitol.  Does anyone know the fees (if any) for the building itself? Also, what are the fees for using a judge? If there is a website I can be directed to, that would be great! Thanks much!

    You can use the rooms in the State Capitol for Free! I think you need to provide your own officiant.

    I believe there is a $300 refundable deposit that you have to pay. Last time I check, it was a $60 to get married there and they provide the chairs.

    I've been looking into this too.  For some reason it's impossible to find anything online.  I went there this weekend and they said that you can get additional information from the Capitol police located inside the State Capitol.  I also found online that you can contact Anne, the Assistant Sergeant, at 608 266 2004 to get more information.  I hope this helps!
