Readings during Ceremony

Anyone have any suggestions on readings during a ceremony?  I don't want to do the typical readings you always hear during a ceremony.

We chose books that were meaningful to us. We are doing an excerpt from AA Milne's The House at Pooh Corner and a poem from Silverstein's Where the Sidewalk Ends.

My wedding date is October 28th and I am having poetry readings at my reception and at the ceremony. We ae also writing or own vows. We have had so much fun with this planning aspect of our wedding.
